1. The Cue (A Question)
A neutral, centered sound plays, prompting your brain with a subconscious question: "Where is North?"
2. The Prediction
In the brief moment after the cue, your brain makes an automatic prediction: you start to expect where the next sound will be.
3. The Feedback (The Answer)
One second later, a sound plays from the actual direction of North, providing immediate feedback and building the feeling that North is right there.

High-Precision Spatial Audio
We don't just use left and right. Sonic Compass dynamically generates audio for 121 distinct spatial positions, giving you an incredibly accurate and immersive feeling of direction.
Built for the Real World
An offset calibrator lets you use the app accurately even when your phone is in your pocket at an angle. The app runs in the background, too, doesn't interfere with any other audio you might be listening to, and is designed to be power-efficient.
